ZOOM EUROPA: Illegal construction in Bulgarian national Parks in the spotlight

The investor Rila Sport JSC which is constructing several illegal roads, a pond and a lift on the territory of Rila National Park is 99% owned by the off-shore company Rilstone Trading Business Corporation, domiciled in Britain. In the video below you will find out with horror that the current "manager" of Rila National Park refuses to answer question about the environmental problems in the park.

The campaign about saving the mountain is gaining more and more followers. FRIENDS OF THE EARTH Association also decided to join the international fight for preservation of the park. Between 3rd and 7th of February, the online petition for immediate suspension of the illegal construction has risen up from 11,000 to 16,000 signatures. The movement gains momentum!
